WASHINGTON – Deteriorating security conditions forced an inbound commercial jet to turn back and the U.N. to withdraw staff, amid escalating fighting between rebels and government forces near the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday. The increasing violence of this war torn country has leaders on edge about the potential use of Syria‘s chemical weapons stockpiles. President Obama, in a speech at the National Defense University on Monday,  gave a serious and deliberate warning, that the use of chemical weapons would be unacceptable and met with consequence, if deployed against rebel forces.
